One trendyass ‘super food’ I’ve been introduced to lately is Chia Seeds. Bloody hell, do these little lads pack some punch! Check this out, one tablespoon of Chia Seeds a day has:
- More Omega 3 than Salmon
- More Calcium than Milk (5 times more!!)
- More Vitamin C than Oranges
- More Iron than spinach
- More potassium than bananas (twice as much if you don’t mind!)
Chia Seeds have no real taste or smell so the’re easy to eat with anything. I generally eat mine sprinkled in my Green Smoothies and salads and then feel smug all day! They come in both white and black but have equal nutritional benefits. I picked up my Raw Health tub in The Organic Supermarket for €11.65.
