Super Trendy Chia Seeds

One trendyass ‘super food’ I’ve been introduced to lately is Chia Seeds. Bloody hell, do these little lads pack some punch! Check this out, one tablespoon of Chia Seeds a day has:

  • More Omega 3 than Salmon
  • More Calcium than Milk (5 times more!!)
  • More Vitamin C than Oranges
  • More Iron than spinach
  • More potassium than bananas (twice as much if you don’t mind!)

Impressive no?!

Chia Seeds have no real taste or smell so the’re easy to eat with anything. I generally eat mine sprinkled in my Green Smoothies and salads and then feel smug all day! They come in both white and black but have equal nutritional benefits. I picked up my Raw Health tub in The Organic Supermarket for €11.65.
